This policy explains what data the K-Lens Chrome extension (“K-Lens”) and its server handle, and why. K-Lens is operated by Appmonster (앱몬스터), Republic of Korea. Contact: appmonster.kr@gmail.com.
Short version: K-Lens works on Bunjang listing pages only. Your settings stay in your browser. We don't collect your browsing history, we don't use analytics or ads, and we never sell data. Pro features send your license key — and, for AI translation, the listing text — to our server.
1. What K-Lens reads in your browser
- Bunjang listing data. When you open a product page on bunjang.co.kr, K-Lens loads that listing's public details (title, description, price, shipping fees, status) from Bunjang's listing data endpoint, or from the page itself. This happens only on Bunjang product pages.
- Bunjang search results. For price checks and new-listing alerts, K-Lens runs Bunjang searches with the words you choose (e.g. a group or member name) and reads the public results.
- K-Lens does not read other websites, your Bunjang account, your Bunjang chats, or your browsing history.
2. What is stored on your device
- Settings (proxy fees, shipping estimates, eBay fees, exchange-rate override) — stored with Chrome storage sync, which Chrome may sync across your own signed-in browsers.
- Pro license key and activation ID, daily free-plan counters, a cached exchange rate and cached search results — stored locally in Chrome storage on your device.
- Your lists: price-watch list, saved search alerts (search words, price limits, matching listings), cart, collection (have / want) and weekly report — stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to our server.
You can delete all of this at any time by removing the extension.
3. What is sent to third parties and our server

Listing text and photos are public seller content. We send no information about you with them other than your license key, which our server uses to check your subscription and daily usage limits. Messages you write for a seller are processed only to translate them and are not stored on our server. Don't include personal details (like your address) in those messages.
4. What our server keeps
- Translation and photo-check cache: results for a listing are cached for up to 7 days so the same listing isn't processed twice. Message translations are not cached.
- License check cache: the result of a license check is cached for up to 6 hours.
- Usage counters: per-license daily counts of AI translations, photo checks and messages, kept for about one day, to enforce fair-use limits.
- Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs, which can include IP addresses, for a limited period. We use them only to fix errors and prevent abuse.
Anthropic processes translation requests under its commercial API terms, which do not allow it to train models on API data by default.
5. Payments
Purchases are handled by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record. Lemon Squeezy collects your payment details; we never see your card number. We receive your name, email address, country and order/subscription details from Lemon Squeezy, and use them only to provide and support your subscription and to meet tax and accounting obligations.
6. What we don't do
- No analytics, tracking pixels or advertising.
- No selling, renting or sharing of user data with data brokers or advertisers.
- No use of data for creditworthiness or lending purposes.
- No human reads your data except when you contact us for support or when needed for security or legal compliance.
K-Lens's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
7. Retention and your rights
Data on your device stays until you remove it or uninstall K-Lens. Server caches expire as described above. Order records are kept as long as required for tax and accounting law. You can ask us to access, correct or delete personal data we hold (for example, your email address tied to a subscription) by emailing appmonster.kr@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
8. Children
K-Lens is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
9. Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above. Material changes will be announced on this page before they take effect.
