The six lines of the bill
- Item priceThe listed price in won. If the listing says 택포, shipping inside Korea is already included.
- Korean domestic shippingSeller to your proxy’s warehouse — usually standard courier (일택), often about ₩4,000.
- Proxy feeCharged by the purchasing agent — a percentage of the item price, a flat fee per item, or both. It varies a lot between proxies.
- International shippingProxy to you, priced by weight, size and method. The first item costs the most; extra items in the same parcel add little.
- Payment feeCard or PayPal fees charged by the proxy, often a few percent.
- Import duty and VATCharged by your country, depending on value and local rules.
Korean domestic shipping options
Bunjang listings show their shipping options. A real figure listing we checked showed standard courier ₩4,000 and GS25 / CU half-price parcel ₩2,500.
- 일택 / 일반택배 (standard courier): door-to-door — this is what most proxies need, because the parcel must reach their warehouse address.
- 반택 / 반값택배 (GS25), 알뜰택배 (CU): cheap parcels collected at a convenience store. Usually not usable with a proxy unless the proxy offers store pickup.
- 준등기 (semi-registered mail): cheap tracked mail for flat items such as photocards — ask your proxy whether they accept it.
- 택포 (shipping included): no extra domestic shipping to add.
Worked example: a ₩35,000 photocard to the US
Using K-Lens default settings (proxy fee 10%, international shipping ₩15,000, payment fee 3%, free domestic shipping) at ₩1,400 per US dollar: item $25.00 + proxy fee $2.50 + international shipping $10.71 + payment fee $1.15 = $39.36. The listed price alone would have suggested $25.

Import duty and VAT in your country
Rules change often, so treat any number as an estimate and check your customs authority. Examples: the UK charges 20% VAT on imports, Australia 10% GST, and the US no longer has a general small-parcel exemption since 2025, so even small parcels can owe duty. Carriers may also add a brokerage fee.
K-Lens includes editable estimates for the US, UK, EU, Canada, Australia, Japan and Singapore, and you can enter your own rates.

How to pay less
- Combine items from several sellers into one international parcel — it is usually the biggest saving.
- Prefer 택포 listings or standard-courier shipping that your proxy can receive.
- Compare with the median price of similar listings, not the cheapest outlier.
- Ask about 네고 (negotiation) politely if the listing says 네고 가능; 급처 (urgent sale) listings often have room.
- Check the bundle unit price — an 일괄 bundle can be cheaper per card even if you only want some of it.
